At the nursing home we stayed and talked with the elderly people. They were nice to us. We helped them play a game. It was a fun experience.

I thought going to the Windmill was going to be a little bit scary becuase I didn't know what to do when i would get there and how their reaction would be when they met us. After i got their it was starting to become fun becuase most of them were nice and they listened to us. We were able to help them with arts and crafts later.

When I first got to the nursing home I kind of felt a little scared but as the day went on I felt a little bit of confidence. We played shuffleboard and we also saw the birds that they have. It was really fun. For all of you all that did not go to the nursing home yet you should really go and have fun too! Remember to not be afraid, but just have confidence

The Nursing Home is a wonderful experiance! Well of course you are a little bit nervious the fist time, but once you are in there it is a whole other world! The elder's faces almost look dead when you first see them, but when you say "Hi", their faces light up with happyness becasue they know that you came there just to see them! More fun is that you bringing the Word of God to them and they'll know it by how you act, you are there to bring Christ and the Light of God to them, so if they happen to die soon, they'll know that they are going to Heaven!

I had alot of fun at the Nursing Home. When we go, we go during their activity time. We usually play a game or arts and crafts. When I went we played shuffle board. During this time I was able to talk with everyone there. I went with three other students and we all agreed that we had fun and would love to go again.

Going to the retirement home was a great expierence for people any age. It was fun playing and doing arts and crafts with my elders and they are also very funny. They have inspired me to do great things in life and live my life to its fullest I really hope I go back to the retirement home and do somemore things with them.

The Nursing Home of Windmill was really cool experience. At first the people mainly were kind of nervous. Once you got to know to people it really wasn't so bad of an experience. I'm sure that just visiting them made their day and hopefully somehow lead them to the Saviour of Saviours .
Peace

I had an amazing time at the nursing home! When I went the activity was bowling but it was an easy version. That was very fun! I hope I get another chance to go before the school year ends.

Me and my classmates had a lot of fun with the people at the Windmill nursing home when we played bowling. Some of the people were kind of mean at first but they lightened up after we talked to them more!

Going to the Windmill Nursing home was really fun. When I got there I greeted everyone and told them my name. Everyone lined up in two lines and faced each other to play baloon volleyball. I played with them and I picked up balloons that fell in between the people. There was one lady who was really good at volleyball.

I had a lot of fun at the nursing home. When I first got there I was a little scared but I ended up having fun. We played balloon volley ball. The people that worked there brought out a bunch of balloons. We helped the elderly to hit the balloons and we gave them balloons when they couldn't reach them. I had a lot of fun playing with them. One lady was even hitting us with the balloons.

Many of the elders were very kind and they loved having us around!

I really enjoyed my experiences!!!

When I went to the Windmill Nursing Home, I was amazed at the people who were there. They were old but still alive and filled with a fire that seemed to come out of nowhere. It shows what God's miricles can do for the young and old. It shows no matter who you are you can be used to better others and in the process better your self. I was filled and inspired when I spoke to the people that were there because some of them were filled with the Spirit of God

Going to the Windmill Nursing home was both fun and funny. We bowled and I was the only one who got a strike. The people there were like in their 80's and up. their was one old guy who was hitting on one of the 12 yr old girls. HALARIOUS!!!! There was also an old lady who was cursing out one of the workers it was funny but bogas. The room we were in was weird there was a giant cage made of see-through glass and wood. There were a bunch of weird looking birds in it. The birds anoyed me but we ended up leaving sooner than I thought so I was O.K. Well Thhhh thats all Folks see you next time on 7TH GRADE MEMORIES!!!!!!!! bye.

Going to the nursing home was fun. Playing bowling with the seniors was fun. Some of them were happy to see us come and visit but others weren't. Even though they weren't happy at first once we started to say our names and get to know them they warmed up to us.
The best thing about it was when one of the seniors hugged me and said that she was glad to see me. That made my very happy. The worst thing about it was leaving. Since it was so much fun it was so hard to leave. But I really enjoyed myself and can't wait to go back again.

The Windmill Nursing Home was very fun! At first I thought it would be great to go but then as we rode in the car I got more nervous. When we got there we were greeted by one of the volunteers. She was very nice. We sung songs with them and and most of them were nice. They gave us hugs and were very happy that we came. We helped them play bowling and then we played bowling. We had so much fun that some of us didn't want to leave! The W.N.H. was so much more fun then I expected! I'm glad that we went!
